Do French Drains Work in Clay Soil?

Yes, French drains absolutely work in clay soil—and clay is where they are needed most. The key is proper design: oversized gravel trenches, quality filter fabric to prevent clay migration, and reliable discharge points that move water completely off your property.

Why Clay Soil Needs French Drains
